Come join us in celebrating Far North Queensland’s local history and cultural heritage and dig into the past.
Mission Beach Historical Society will have a stall!

Learn about the rich tapestry of our regions past, showcasing the incredible work and dedication of our historical societies. There will be children’s crafts, exhibitions, displays, guest speakers, workshops and more.
The Herberton Lions Club and CWA will be selling food and drinks from a giant marquee where tables and chairs will be provided.

Disabled drop off area onsite.

  • ABC FNQ Antiques on the Wireless Roadshow - Bring along your (small) antiques for appraisal- hosted by Nick Watling
  • Cairns Museum Research Workshop - “How to research”
  • Herberton Community Inter Active - Children’s craft activities
  • Hand steel demonstrations by the Herberton and District Rock Drill Club. This is their first reunion since the Herberton Tin Festival days!
  • James Leech – recording booth for oral histories
  • Tin Panning – have a go…
