This short video project explores Djiru practice of traditional knowledge.
We would like to acknowledge the Djiru, Traditional Owners and Custodians of the Mission Beach area.
We recognize and express gratitude to the Old People for the rich diversity of their living heritage –practices, representations, knowledge and skills – that continue to be relevant and provide meaning in everyday life.
It will enable the preservation, and raise awareness of the Djiru cultural heritage and also help impart cultural knowledge to the next generation.
